Synopsis:
The city of Tampere condenses, compresses, develops. Houses are torn down and new ones are rising. Is there any room for diversity? Will there be room to breathe?
Grid plan is a documentary short essay film about the change happening in the city. The film combines documentary super8 film and plants collected from construction sites.
Tampere tiivistyy, puristuu, kehittyy. Taloja puretaan ja uusia rakennetaan. Jääkö tilaa enää monimuotoisuudelle? Jääkö tilaa hengittää?
Teos yhdistää dokumentaarista kaitafilmikuvaa ja työmailta kerättyjä kasveja.
